Decisions On Startup
People have been asking me for years how I’ve kept my youthful skin. Shyly, I tell them good genes and and good food. I take that back - there’s nothing shy about me but I get humbled by attention at times.
Anyway, when I say good food, I mean it on several levels. I eat well - fresh veggies, fruit, and some meat once in a while but I don’t go out of my way for it. I’m just as happy with a plate of veggies and even more happy with a bowl of Bing cherries. That being said, I also feed my skin - from the outside.
For years I’ve been concocting a natural cocktail for my face that I apply each morning after I wash with just soap and water. I pat my face dry and then put a generous amount of my magic ‘serum’ on my face and give it about 3 minutes to soak in. It doesn’t take long- I brush my teeth while I wait. I’ve been doing this for a few years now. It’s become routine.
And now, as I approach collecting social security and medicare, I look in the mirror and I have no wrinkles -none- zippo-nada. When I ask for a senior citizen discount, I always have to show my ID. My skin is really 20 years behind my real age. I credit my feeding system. And people are beginning to mention it. After my colleagues asked me to make them some serum and are coming back for more, I’ve decided to bring it to other folks that want to try it too.
So, I’ve picked a name that describes it’s purity since I use only the purest and most prized ingredients that nourish, protect, and tighten the skin. I came up with Dalisay. It’s a Phillipine adjective that means “pure; unadulterated; immaculate; sincere; clear; distilled”. It’s perfect because it describes my serum to a tee!
Onward, and another step forward. I have my branding, bottles, labels, lab, and people waiting… it’s time to bring my formula to the market. I’m pretty excited because I know what it does for the skin. I’ve even tested it on the most sensitive skin - a person who is allergic to everything - and I’m not exaggerating. She cannot go in homes with carpet, near new clothes, or around anyone wearing scents of any kind. Her doctors meet her out in the parking lot because the buildings have too many chemical elements with their fabrics, carpets, and even inks from the papers they print. Even she can use my serum without worry!
So, Dalisay - here it comes - we’re on the home stretch now…
